Located at the end of Mylopotas beach, the menu typically includes a variety of seafood dishes that are prepared using traditional Greek methods. The restaurant’s atmosphere is typically casual and relaxed, allowing all diners to enjoy the sea breeze.
Drakos fish tavern opened for the first time in 1963 by the great George Drakos. Since then we have made innumerable friendships that will last a lifetime. Our recipes have been handed down across three generations of chefs, using local products and pure ‘meraki’.
At Drakos, we want you to enjoy the experience as much as you enjoy the food. Sit back and relax, feel grateful for the beautiful evening you’ve shared with your loved one and friends. The sound of the waves and the sea breeze will leave you feeling refreshed, with memories of this seaside dinner that will last a lifetime.

Our family group ate here the night before we left Ios. We wish we had ‘discovered’ this little gem earlier as we would love to have returned.
The food was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the fish , the salads, the calamari and a variety of other dishes. The beers and wines were great too! The setting is excellent – right on the water’s edge – it was a memorable night of dining out.

7 star tavern! Every morning fishermen bring fresh caught fish. Very rich menu.
You can taste all of the Greek specialties as everything is so tasty. We went there again the following day as we could not finish tasting the menu.
